William Thomason, a native of Devils Lake, North Dakota, achieved his Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of North Dakota.  William subsequently graduated with distinction from the University Of North Dakota School of Law.  During law school, he served as a legal intern with Amnesty International in Washington, D.C. and as a law clerk with the Grand Forks Public Defender Office.  During his final year in law school, William organized and presided over the International Human Rights Organization at UND.

Following law school, William worked as a contract landman for Petro-Hunt, LLC in western North Dakota until joining Larson Latham Huettl in July of 2009. William is licensed to practice in the State of North Dakota and concentrates his practice in the areas of domestic relations and criminal law.
