Chris graduated with a degree in English/Mass Communications from Minnesota State University Moorhead, Moorhead, MN.  Before starting his legal career, Chris worked as a television news producer for KVLY TV in Fargo, North Dakota.

After working at KVLY TV, Chris was admitted to the University of North Dakota School of Law and graduated with distinction.  While attending law school, Chris participated in the school’s Clinical Education Program and, as a student attorney, he represented clients in housing and employment litigation as well as administrative actions.

Chris is a native of Beulah, ND.
